What I believe I believe that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it. I also believe that through the sin of the first humans, we have all sinned and fall short of God's standards (Rom 5:8). Living our lives without God is sin. The punishment of sin is death (Rom 3:23) and although God is loving, He is also Just. This means that the sin we have committed must be paid for. God loves us so much that He has provided a way for us to live (John 3:16), even though we have sinned. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, born of a miracle birth, without sin, to take our death-penalty upon Himself. Thus, He died on the cross for our sins. This gift is free, but can only be ours if we accept it.
God calls us to be His servants in this world. To tell others of His love and to share His love with everyone around us, to be an example and to be the light that shines through the dark clouds of this world.
I have been a Christian since I was 16 (1987), God spoke to me in a very unique way, and I will never forget the way it happened
